EQUINE INTERACTIONS
​There is no doubt that horses have therapeutic qualities.  Our Equine Interactions are based on the 5 Steps to Wellbeing Model and the principles of Equine Facilitated Interactions.  This combined approach means that our programmes operate under 3 main pillars:
  1. Emotional Intelligence
  2. Physical benefits
  3. Connection with Nature.
 We nurture positive wellbeing, practical skills and coping strategies through the use of horses in the great outdoors. Our programmes are designed to focus on the connection with self, connection with horse and a sense of purpose.   The stables is a safe secure environment surrounded by 30 acres of lush green countryside.

Pauline has a wealth of experience in team development, leadership and coaching and, as a 4th generation farmer, in animal husbandry and in particular in caring for and working with horses.  She is a Member of Athena Herd and Accredited Member of the Association for Accredited Counsellors Coaches Psychotherapists & Hypnotherapists.  For more information why not contact us on info@cityofderryequestrian.com
SCHOOLS, TEAM DEVELOPMENT DAYS AND COMMUNITY VISITS
Horse riding is a great way to get active and get out enjoying the fresh air, increasing flexibility and coordination, as well as overall fitness levels. Fun and engaging, it’s also a fantastic way to teach how to care for animals and respect nature, and contributes to wider personal and social development.

Our school,  team development days and community visits offer a taster of what horses are all about, with activities including quizzes to learn new equestrian phrases and how horses communicate. There are also demonstrations on how to prepare for riding,  exercises on foot to develop life skills, games on horseback to develop confidence and balance, a mini sports day, treasure hunts and much more!

EQUINE FACILITATED LEARNING
Suitable for individuals and groups.  We start by having a conversation to discuss what your desired outcomes are and build the programme around this.  We recommend a minimum of 3 sessions up to 6 sessions.  Prices start at £60 per session for 1-1 and £300 per session for groups.
